Live Tissue Bonding

THE COMPANY

CSMG Technologies, Inc., OTCBB trading symbol "CTUM" or CTUM.OB is a publicly traded emerging growth technology management company formed in 1992. Recognizing early in our company’s development, there were a number of leading edge technology opportunities available in Ukraine, CTUM built strong relationships with the National Academy of Science of Ukraine "NASU", Ukraine’s leading and largest manufacturing companies, scientific institutes, medical institutes, hospitals and research clinics. CTUM owns, finances, develops, licenses and markets innovative advanced technologies for large growing markets in medical, energy and agriculture markets.

One of these is our patented platform Live Tissue Bonding technology for closing human surgical wounds. The tissue bonding device bonds and reconnects living soft biological tissue without the use of foreign matters or conventional wound closing devices such as sutures, staples, sealant, or glues - leaving little or no scar tissue visible to the naked eye after a few months. Unlike other tissue coagulation methods that tend to destroy tissue by charring, searing and necrosis, the CTUM patented technology bonds and reconnects incised tissue and avoids charring, searing and necrosis, using a smokeless low heat delivery method aimed at restoration of the normal functions of the live organs and tissue.

Today three Ukraine hospitals are using the technology daily for open and laparoscopic surgical procedures and techniques. As of January 2003 the three hospitals had completed more than 1,000 successful human surgeries using the technology and are performing 80 to 100 surgeries on new patients each month. Surgical procedures so far have involved the bonding and reconnecting of incised or separated human tissues in the following body areas - nasal septum, intestine, stomach, skin, gall bladder, liver, spleen, blood vessels, nerves, alba linea, uterus, fallopian tube, ovary and testicles - while restoring the normal function of the body organ or tissue.

IN addition CTUM owns a CO2 separation technology for landfill gas that refines raw landfill methane gas up 98 % purity. The first US installed unit is completing start-up near Mobile Alabama.

CTUM is the largest shareholder and foreign investor in one of Ukraine’s largest engineering Closed Joint Stock Companies with Foreign Investment "United Engineering Closed Joint Stock Company with Foreign Investment (UEC)" and works with United Engineering Company on an advanced Anaerobic Animal Waste processing project.
