Renewable Energy Landfill Gas Production
CO-2 Separator for Landfill Gas Production
to Pipeline Quality
The patent pending CO-2 separation technology and plant design
was developed to purify raw landfill gas from 50 % to 57 % methane
to 95 % to 98 % methane, a quality acceptable for commercial pipelines.
 |
|
CSMG developed the CO-2 Separator complex for solving many
of the landfill methane gas production problems while converting
the raw gas to a cleaner, high quality gas (up to 97 % pure).
The purified gas may be sold to utility companies as well
as other industry and commercial customers.

There are approximately 18,000 landfills in the US and Canada
of which about 20 % qualify for our technology niche market.
The CSMG complex allows us the opportunity to install plants
and compressors that are economically viable at landfill locations
with 1,750 or more cubic feet per minute (CFM) of raw landfill
methane gas. The CFM needed to be economically viable for
our technology is small compared to the CFM needed for most
landfill energy production complexes or CO-2 removal systems.
|
CSMG owns the technology and installed a plant in Chastang, Al
(Mobile) in 2003.
